About Me

I've always been very creative.  I've scrapbooked for 12 years, sewed for 25 years and in the last two years I've discovered how much I love the visual arts.  Drawing and painting.  I've been told that I'm good and should pursue my art.  Very flattering to hear.  Whether or not I truly have talent, I love to do art.  Sewing is still very much in my blood. Sitting behind a sewing machine always brings a satisfaction that never goes away too.

Casken Designs is a label I have dedicated to my daughter.  It's my shop name on Etsy and combines the arts with textiles.  You'll see items dedicated to children in my life.
